NC Concealed Carry Handgun Course - $70
Our NC Concealed Carry Handgun Course is not your everyday concealed carry course that just hounds on laws. We have integrated our basics of pistol course as well as the NC State laws governing the use of Deadly Force and conceal carry. This course is an 8hr course plus range time.
- We will teach you about the different types of handguns and handgun actions
- How to safely handle handguns
- How to know what ammunition to use for your intended purpose
- The basic fundamentals of pistol marksmanship (the right way to shoot the pistol)
- Proper stances and the tactical use of them
- Practical applications in the classroom before we ever go to the range
- Considerations in purchasing a handgun
- Maintenance of your handgun
- Concealed Carry technique and equipment
- Federal, State and local laws regarding transportation and the purchase of a firearm
- How to apply for your Concealed Carry Handgun Permit
- What the law says about where you can and cannot carry concealed
- What the law says about your use of deadly force in a self-defense situation
- What to do after a self-defense shooting
- There will be a written test on NC Gun Laws and a shooting proficiency test from 3,5,7 yards.
Items Needed: Pen and paper
Firearm of your choosing and 100 rounds (Minimum requirement is 30 rounds but try to bring at least 100) No single action revolvers. Please ensure its cleaned prior to coming to class.
Holster
Eye and Ear Protection (This will be provided free of charge if needed)
For those that do not own a firearm we have rentals available for $25 with ammo included.
NO LIVE AMMUNITION IN CLASS
Range is outdoors so please dress accordingly for the weather. No open toed shoes or loose clothing allowed on the range. Long air must be tied up.
We do offer Military and First Responder Discounts as well as group discounts for groups of 3 or more.
No Refund policy when you reserve your seat you are taking a seat someone else could have used. If you can not make your scheduled class you will be offered a seat in our next available class.
Refresher Course – $35
For those of you that have a NC Concealed Carry Permit but it has been awhile and you want to freshen up on the laws or basics of handgun, then this class is for you. If you did not take your Concealed Carry class with us, then we know you will learn more sitting in on our class than your original class.
Must provide proof of your Handgun Permit before coming to class.
